Which motorcycle is suitable for me?

Do I need a driver's license for a motorcycle?

Your normal class B driver's license is perfectly sufficient if you want to drive a scooter up to 45 km/h. For the higher motorcycle categories A1, A2 and A you need the corresponding driving license.

What does a motorcycle cost?

Buying a good entry-level model costs from CHF 6,000 depending on the model. Prices are open upwards and depend on brand, engine and equipment. However, in addition to the one-off costs, there are also ongoing expenses for a motorcycle, such as taxes, insurance, parking space and regular maintenance.
What are the requirements for riding a motorcycle?

To ride a motorcycle, you need protective clothing such as a helmet and leather suit as well as a driving license for the corresponding motorcycle class.
Good to know: If you want to drive your motorcycle on the Swiss highways, you need a vignette. Many of our two-wheelers already have the vignette.
