Valid while the promotional budget of CHF 20,000 lasts. The code can be redeemed once per person and applies exclusively to persons residing in the City of Zurich. Sharely reserves the right to exclude individual users from the campaign in cases of suspected misuse.
Measurable Sustainability when Renting through Sharely
No greenwashing. Just facts: In an independent life cycle assessment study (LCA), Sharely together with ESU-services calculated what a rental truly achieves. The result: per 100 rental transactions, 52 new purchases – and their CO₂-intensive production – are prevented. This yields a net saving of 88.4 kg CO₂ per rental. Renting sustainably instead of buying is not just the right thing to do – it's the smarter choice.

The promotional budget of 20,000 francs comes from the «Kooperationen» programme of the Environmental & Health Protection Agency of the City of Zurich – for projects with measurable climate-friendly impact. With «Spring Cleaning for the Climate», Sharely makes a concrete contribution to the city's climate protection goals and supports the path to net zero by 2040.
The model is deliberately transparent: the funding flows entirely to private owners who make their equipment available through Sharely. Sharely itself receives no subsidies – we provide the platform, the insurance and secure payment processing. You benefit from 70% off. Owners are fairly compensated. The City of Zurich invests in real CO₂ reduction.
